Youth Competition 2022

The Centropa youth competitions encourage young citizens from the project countries to send in digital projects such as short films, online brochures, or cemetery profiles on local Jewish cemeteries, which can be viewed on websites they create. The projects are reviewed by an international jury and are judged on their creativity, historical accuracy, and storytelling.

University Competition 2022

Furthermore, as part of an special art and photography competition university students from visual arts and photography departments in all seven participating project countries are invited to submit artwork inspired by Jewish cemeteries. The winning artworks will be featured on the website and in a traveling exhibition, accompanied by textual material developed using the Consortium’s database. To top it off, the artworks will also be presented at our final conference.

Call for entries as well as the guidelines for the 2022 competitions will be published soon.
